Dust off your Flapper Dresses and Don your Fedora for the Matanzas Bay Buccaneers Bootleggers Ball!
Join the Matanzas Bay Buccaneers for a roaring good time at the Bootleggers Ball, a 1920s themed charity event benefiting Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, and the Greater St. Johns Foster and Adoptive Parents Association. Transport yourself back to the era of speakeasies and gangsters, where the music is hot, the Charleston is the rage, and the only thing smoother than the moves are the sips!
The evening soiree will feature:
- Music: Kick up your heels with DJ Scotty playing the hottest jazz and swing tunes of the decade
- Charleston Dance Instruction: Feeling a little rusty? Learn the iconic Charleston with group instruction
- Moonshine Tasting (for the brave!): Sample a curated selection of moonshine (legally procured, of course!) and discover the secret spirit of the Prohibition Era. (Cash bar also available for classic cocktails)
- Silent Auction: Bid on a dazzling array of unique items and experiences to take home a piece of the night and support a great cause
